Biography, Education and Training

Anna recently moved back to Santa Cruz after living and studying for her Master’s in Social Work as a Human Rights Profession in Berlin, Germany. While in Berlin, she focused her studies on the impacts of trauma- informed yoga on survivors of sexual violence. As a CARE advocate, Anna will work with survivors in a collaborative and supportive environment to hold space for empowerment and healing. Anna often uses a somatic approach, incorporating trauma-informed yoga and other body-based healing practices into her work with survivors. Anna believes that choice is a fundamental part of this work and always encourages survivors to make the choice that best fits their needs.
