Upcoming Events
CARE hosts a variety of events throughout the year for the UCSC community. Our events are places for sharing resources, meals, stories, and experiences that strengthen our connection to each other to promote healing and resilience.

Visit the other tabs of our Community Offerings section to learn about awareness months, training opportunities, and ways to stay connected! For questions or accommodations please reach out to us at care_pec@ucsc.edu.

Survivor Circles
CARE’s Healing After Trauma Survivor Circles offer in-person, drop-in spaces for students to share both the challenges and moments of hope in healing from harmful sexual experiences. Two supportive groups are available:
• A general survivor circle, open to all students of any background.
• A BIPOC-focused survivor circle, centering experiences specific to Black, Indigenous, and Students of Color, while remaining open to all who wish to engage with these topics in a respectful and intentional space.
Each group may explore themes such as emotional well-being, navigating triggers, responding to disclosures, and processing anger. Contact CARE to sign up.
Yoga As Healing is a six-week series developed for UCSC students who identify as survivors of interpersonal violence.
Together we will practice gentle body movement, breathwork, meditation, and more from a trauma-informed lens. Visit our sign up page to access the schedule and submit your application. Returning yoga participants are not required to submit a new application. Students with no yoga experience are welcome!
