Survivor Circles
CARE’s Healing After Trauma Survivor Circles offer in-person, drop-in spaces for students to share both the challenges and moments of hope in healing from harmful sexual experiences. Two supportive groups are available:
• A general survivor circle, open to all students of any background.
• A BIPOC-focused survivor circle, centering experiences specific to Black, Indigenous, and Students of Color, while remaining open to all who wish to engage with these topics in a respectful and intentional space.
Each group may explore themes such as emotional well-being, navigating triggers, responding to disclosures, and processing anger. Contact CARE for information and to sign up.
Yoga As Healing is a six-week series developed for UCSC students who identify as survivors of interpersonal violence.
Together we will practice gentle body movement, breathwork, meditation, and more from a trauma-informed lens.Yoga As Healing will be held on Wednesdays in the Student Health Center Mural Room from 4-6 p.m. Visit our sign up page to access the schedule and submit your application.
